When you think you are so close to getting what you want, think twice about your every step. Because what you think is the right thing to do may take away your life….

I received and arc of the book for the blog tour and i have to say i was so excited after reading the other books in the series i couldn't wait!

Eileen Continues her quest to hunt down the Dragon brotherhood and destroy them and the spell that can be used to take all her power! she most use all she has to follow the clues that will lead her to the spell, but with her friends close at hand she is getting closer, but is everything as it seems? with the brotherhood moving in, mysterious people showing up, her friendship wavering and someone controlling her power will she defeat the brotherhood and destroy the spell to keep her power?

I love the other books in this series and let me tell you this one does not disappoint! from the very first page i was captivated! i read the book in one sit i could put it down! As with the other books in the series the plot lines moves fast and there were always tricks and turns you didn't see coming. I love how Diana can twist the story so everything you thought or predicted would happen ends up to be wrong and you are left going 'my god did that just happen' there is never a dull moment and you are always kept guessing. the story is full of happy, sad, heart warming, Adrenalin filling and exciting moments! It seems that whenever i think the story can't get better Diana out does herself, every book just gets better and better!

As in the other books i loved Eileen, i love how she is a strong lead female, in this book i think you do see more strength from her but also a massive vulnerable moment. i have to say at some points i wanted to slap her and make her realise what she was doing and risking! I can understand that she wanted to do everything on her own and not risk her friends, but there was no way that they were going to let her do it alone so in some cases she put her friends in danger by making stupid decisions, on the other hand i can see why she done it. by they end of the book though i think she started to realise that she needed help and she didn't have to do it alone! As always Christian was his normal swoonworthy loving self and i still adore him! Even was his normal cocky self but again i still love him!
one thing though...... the end!!! why!! what a cliffhanger i swear i nearly had a heart attack!!! i cant wait for the next one i need it now!! i will definitely be on edge!!
an amazing amazing  book! Diana is my favourite other and once again she as had me swooning wanting to cry and have a panic attack all in one book!

Pushing The Limits

Pushing The Limits
Katie McGarry
Published August 1st 2012 by Harlequin Teen (first published July 31st 2012)
Format: Paperback
Goodreads: I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Echo is trying to recover from a family secret that she can not remember when she is asked to tutor Noah a social outcast with a bad reputation.  In an attempt to do up her brothers car and fix the hole in her heart that she agrees, but while she is trying to repair her heart someone else might be stealing it! while family secrets get uncovered, her relationship with Noah takes a different turn and Echo tries to find her way in her knew life will she manage to uncover the truth about her past? and is she capable of dealing with the truth?

My friend recommended this book to me and what can I say but wow! I loved it! from the first few pages I was hooked and I knew I was going to enjoy the storyline which I did! I think what I liked most in the book was that it was close to live, the accidents and events that happened can and do really happen! I found the book gripping from cover to cover every page just kept you reading! I lo9ved the characters and I literally cant say a bad word about it. it was completely heart warming and breaking at the same time, it give you that lovely warm fussy feeling that you get when you are watching two characters fall in love and you have that stupid smile on you face but also that sinking feeling in the bit of your stomach when something horrible happens .I thought the book was amazingly written and the different emotions and elements in the storyline contrasted so well together.

I loved Echo, first I just thought she had an amazing name! but I love the character because you see a girl who used to be popular and have everything and loses it all and has to rebuild herself from the ground, you see the highs the lows, the ups the downs and the moments when you see her life finally starting to turn. I really felt for her!
I loved Noah he was just an amazing character, he is so swoonworthy and has that hard and dangerous but heart of gold thing going on. you saw this tough and hard exterior but that wounded vulnerable side. I literally loved all the characters in the book and each one added something to the story line.

I cant wait to read Beth's story if the other book are as good as this I will love them!
I swear this is a must read you wont be disappointed I loved it!

Guest Review :Spoken From The Front: Real Voices From the Battlefields of Afghanistan

Guest Review!

Hi everyone! I am so excited to post my first guest review! I hope you all enjoy it! Also a big thank you to my guest reviewer Mark I really appreciate it!

Spoken From The Front: Real Voices From the Battlefields of Afghanistan
Andy McNab (Editor)
Published: May 13th 2010 by Corgi (first published September 25th 2009)

Goodreads: Spoken from the Front is the story of the Afghan Campaign, told for the first time in the words of the servicemen and women who have been fighting there. With unprecedented access to soldiers of all ranks, as well as pilots, reservists, engineers, medics, Royal Military police, mechanics, cooks and other military personnel, Andy McNab has assembled a portrait of modern conflict like never before.

This is the full experience of our troops on the ground and in the air. The horrors, cruelties, drudgery, excitement and banter of these soldiers' lives combine to form a chronological narrative of all the major events in Helmand during the British Army's time there.

From their action-packed, dramatic, moving and often humorous testimonies in interviews, diaries, letters and emails written to family, friends and loved ones, emerges a 360-degree picture of guerrilla warfare up close and extremely personal. It is as close to the real thing as you can get.

My thoughts:

This book gives great insight into the lives of our military personnel whilst serving on operational duty within the Armed Forces in Afghanistan. It shows the feelings and emotions that people have whilst working in a warzone through both the good times and bad. You can’t beat a bit of Army banter and this book showed some of that. I felt it was quite easy to picture what was going on whilst reading as I have served within the British Army myself and gone through a lot of those same emotions and feelings. On a more personal note, I actually know some of the people who have provided the accounts for the book.

Andy McNab took accounts from a whole host of people who had different job roles within the British Army, Territorial Army (TA) and Ministry of Defence. There are a few accounts within the book which as I was reading I thought why are they even in here. These accounts weren’t from any of the regular serving personnel. They were quite annoying to read with comments showing that they weren’t used to the military way of life at all. Luckily though these were limited to just a handful.

If you are someone who is interested in finding out more about what our serving personnel experience within Afghanistan then this is definitely a book you should read. I would read this book again and enjoyed almost all of it, except the point I mentioned above. 4*

Dark Winter ( Nick Stone #6 )
Andy McNab
Published: Published September 1st 2011 by Corgi
(first published January 1st 2003)
Format: Paperback
Pages: 496

Goodreads: Agent Nick Stone expects his latest mission to be a straightforward part of the fight against Osama Bin Laden's network of terror. Despatched to Malaysia, all he needs to do is assassinate a suspicious biochemist. But there are complications. Not least the attractive woman he is working alongside.

Target neutralised, Stone returns to the USA to find turmoil in his personal life. He is guardian to a teenage girl who is haunted by her traumatic past and attempting to numb it with a heavy drug dependency. Stone knows he is the only one who can help her but her scars run deeper than he thinks.

Before long, the conspiracy he has uncovered unravels to reveal a doomsday threat against the populations of New York, London and Berlin. And Stone faces the ultimate trade-off: the life of someone he loves, against those of millions he doesn't even know..

Nick Stone finds himself on yet another mission for the man he hates, but this one promises to be straightforward and simple so he can return to his life in the states. Stone comes back from the mission feeling that he has completed the task just to find not only is his personal life circling the drain but the last job was just scratching the surface. with a biological attack planned on America, Germany and England stone must stop at nothing to prevent it..... but at what cost?

I love reading Andy McNab's books, Like all of his other books in this series this one was action pack and brilliant and well written. I have to say though it took me months to read it, i just couldn't get in to it. after reading the first 5 you find the same things seem to happen in all of them, he does a job when he doesn't want to it starts to go well, then falls apart and hes in a situation he will never get out off, oh wait yes he does and hes fine and finishes the mission against all odds and will never work for the company again, next book oh wait hes forces in to a job. so it took me a whole to get in to it, the story i think was a bit more slow moving in this book, i have to say though the whole book got saved by the last few chapters! it went from a book i was considering not finishing to a book i couldn't put down!

I loved Nick just as much in this book but i have to warn you get issues out, i broke my heart it was so sad! i just wanted to hug him so much in this book, you see his lowest point but i have a feeling also a turning point in his life and am excited to see where that new direction will go!

Another good book by Andy McNab 3*
